FCSN
We have been dedicating over 300 hours of LEGO robotics mentorship to FCSN (Friends of Children with Special Needs) each year since 2021. Our customized curriculum consists of teaching them how to build robots and block code. We have helped to improve their social and hands-on skills.

About the event
Since 2021, we have been teaching at FCSN, which is consisted of children with special needs. We have been the only team teaching FCSN in this area, and we are teaching LEGO robotics weekly on Sunday at two sites, SJC and Fremont. We have dedicated over 300 hours of teaching so far, and we commit about six hours a week. Our customized curriculum contains teaching them how to build robots and code them. We have taught them several concepts, such as the four-bar-lift, and we have also taught them basic block coding. We believe that by doing so, we are providing a portion of what they require to possess in the future—and we have improved their social and hands-on skills.
